I know everybody says it but I’m so happy we had a few sunny and warm days in the UK. It instantly put me in a better mood and even though it is currently raining outside I still feel like I can get ready for summer, cuz it is well on the way. I have had a busy month, so this Birchbox review is a little late than usual, but I still wanted to write this blog post. The box itself is soo springy and pretty, I can’t get over it. This month’s box is a collaboration with Cath Kidston and I was really excited to receive it. So let’s see what my box contained…
First thing is my fave thing in the box and it is an original Cath Kidston hand creme. I love hand creams I use them all year around so I’m always happy to add a new one to my collection. It smells so gorgeous, flowery, perfect for spring. It sinks in quickly too which is a huge bonus. It is sitting on my desk and I keep reaching for it a lot.
So the second thing is a ModelCo Baked Highlighter, and it is so tiny, probably the smallest product sample I have ever got. I chose it in the shade Frose and it has a pinky undertone, which I like in my highlighters. It is gonna be a perfect addition to my spring make up looks.
Another beauty product I have got is a Beautaniq Beauty Fill and Tame brow gel. It is a vegan formula which is great and it is enriched with aloe leaf extract so it is nourishing for the brows. Also contains glycerin so the brows won’t get crunchy or sticky which is often my issue with brow gels. I like the sound of these and I think it will a perfect product to use after I just got my brows filled in.
I feel like this box is very make up heavy, four product out of five, but I’m not complaining about it haha. So the next sample is a BB cream by Marcelle. It is supposed to hydrate and smooth your skin, giving you a glow that I guess you would want to wear in the spring and summer. It looks a little dark at first but when you blended out it looks better on the skin. As the weather is getting warmer it will be nice to use this instead of a foundation.
Lastly there were a skin care sample in the box too. I got the Lumene Overnight Bright Sleeping Cream. I have actually tried this but only once, I felt like it was a bit heavy on my skin like I could definitely felt like I had applied something onto my face. It did make my skin nice and soft by the morning, but I’ll be careful to use it just because of my oily skin. It has couldberry seed extract , vitamin C and hyaluronic acid to help your skin be luminous by the morning.
So this is all I had in April’s Birchbox, I hope you enjoyed reading it. Have you tried any of these products before?
Until next time,
Agota
I’m never normally a fan of subscription boxes, although i do LOVE the idea of them and do one day wanna try them but i feel like i wouldnt use/like all of the items in the box, for example in this box id only really like the handcream but even still the boxes are so cute and i love reading what people get every month!

I know what you mean. I don’t end up using all of the products usually but still it’s good way to find new products and try them out.

The box is gorgeous, I’d be really interested in the eyebrow gel and how well it works!

It works well I think. I use it after I fill in my brows and I like how it doesn’t look like a gel yet keeps my brows in place. x

The packaging on this box is so pretty! I’ve never tried any of these products but I love the sound of the sleeping cream, those ingredients are things I usually look for anyway x
