I have quite a fair skin, basically I am really really pale, and that sometimes causes me a bit of a trouble when applying blush. I used to not even use it just cuz I was so bad at applying it. But with the years and practise I think I got okay at it. I’m still afraid that sometimes I look like a clown but using lighter shades and a good brush made a huge difference. I started enjoying using a blush, even got a couple new shades. But I never ever dared to use a cream blush. I’ve always thought that they are so hard to blend, and it would look streaky on my face. But I received this blush in January’s Birchbox , gave it a try and now it is my go to, new fave blush.
So this blusher crayon is by a brand called Lord and Berry (never heard of them before Birchbox) in the shade in Camelia. It is really creamy, easy to blend out. I just simply do a couple of lines on my cheeks and blend is out with a brush, that works better for me than using my fingers. It has a nice pink shade perfect for my complexion and it just blends into the skin like a dream, giving me a really natural look. I am actually impressed. I did not think I would like a crayon blush, but I have been using it almost every day since I got it.
I do use a setting spray and with that it stays on all day and I usually have my make up on my face for 12 hrs. Although it does not claim to be long lasting it is a nice benefit. If you’re looking for a cream blush (I guess this still counts as cream, just because it is in a pencil/stick from), I would highly recommend getting this one. It retails for £15 on the Birchbox website. I think it is not too expensive as it will last a long time, I have been using it for two months and only sharpened it twice.
I hope you liked this post, I really enjoy sharing great beauty finds like this! Do you prefer cream blushes or powder ones? Which one is your fave?
Until next time,
Agota xx
Im so pale that im way too scared to try blush and this product although looks really nice and looks like it would blend nicely, would overwhelm me because it’s like a crayon hahah!!

I am pale as well, and have always had issues with blush. It is always hard to find a new favorite, when your old formula/Favorite stops working. Thanks for sharing your journey to finding something that works for you.
